The Career Ground Lease is for agricultural entrepreneurs looking for the lowest possible price and long-term certainty regarding the use of the land. You transfer the land for up to 70% of the market value of the land in freehold. You immediately get to use the land for a minimum period of 30 years on a ground lease basis. The ground rent of 2% widens your scope to make other investments. Of course, all existing rights remain your property.
You are not obliged to make any interim repayments with a Career Ground Lease. There are options for selling the ground lease right before the end of the term and for taking out a mortgage on the lease rights.
You only pay an annual ground rent of 2%. The ground rent will be indexed annually with the consumer price index of Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
