Today the developer Stone22 delivered TNO’s laboratory for building innovation at TU Delft Campus to the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund, while the keys were simultaneously presented to its tenant, TNO. The building, which was designed especially for TNO, allows TNO to create unique research models for innovations in the construction sector. The location of this new laboratory at TU Delft Campus will further optimise collaboration and knowledge exchange between TNO, TU Delft, and all partners.
This laboratory for building innovation will allow TNO to do ground-breaking research into lifetime extension and innovation in materials, energy and constructions, on behalf of housing and utility construction companies and infrastructure organisations both in the Netherlands and in the wider international market. Construction of the GroupA-designed building began in April 2020, and it has been delivered in less than a year.
