Ravelijn is located in Arent Krijtstraat in Diemen. This location is adjacent to the popular Watergraafsmeer district in Amsterdam and is easily accessible by public transport, bike and car. In front of the building there is a tram stop with a direct connection to the centre of Amsterdam and the slip road to the A10 motorway is less than one minute’s drive from the project.

Spacious houses and friends’ apartments

The houses in the project are two, three and four room apartments, varying from 50 m² to 89 m². They include ten ‘friends apartments’ based on a living concept by AM. These apartments are for people who have no relationship but who want to live together independently in the city. These houses have two spacious bedrooms, each with bathroom en suite. The living room kitchen and toilet in these apartments are shared. All the houses have outdoor spaces and there are plenty of facilities in the area such as shops, bars and restaurants. And the Diemerplein shopping centre and Amsterdam’s largest sports centre, with amenities including an athletics track, football pitches, tennis courts and a skating rink, are a few minutes away by bike.

“Ravelijn is an addition to our residential portfolio and to the housing market in the Amsterdam region,” says Robbert van Dijk, Fund Director of the ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund.

Ronald Huikeshoven, Board Chairman of area developer AM adds, “With Ravelijn we are adding to the availability of houses in the mid-priced rental segment, helping to satisfy the demand for housing and the wishes of future tenants”.
