All office space and gym Wonderwoods leased before completion

Even before the completion of Wonderwoods, the entire 14,700m² of office space and 1,000m² of gym has been leased to a total of eight companies. The green tower, highlighted by a vertical forest of over one hectare and over 80,000 m2 of living and office space, was built by developer G&S& (part of VolkerWessels) and is owned by the ASR Dutch Mobility Office Fund.

Wonderwoods, located in the heart of Utrecht, consists of two green towers. Designed by MVSA Architects and Stefano Boeri Architetti, the towers offer a perfect balance between working, living and nature. The innovative complex combines modern architecture with sustainable building techniques. The full leasing of the office space, spread over 11 floors, before completion underlines Wonderwoods’ appeal to both national and international companies.

Upon completion, Wonderwoods will house a total of seven office tenants and a gym. In the tower designed by Stefano Boeri Architetti, SportCity will occupy the first floor with around 1,050m² lettable floor area (LFA). The sports club consciously chose the green, inspiring environment offered by the tower, as it matches SportCity’s focus on physical and mental health.

Four new tenants have signed contracts for the offices in the MVSA tower, on different floors. Sweco, a major player in architecture and engineering consultancy, will house its staff on the sixth and seventh floors, totalling some 1,352m². Tsavo, which focuses on organising sustainability, leases about 696m² on the eighth floor. adesso, a leading IT consulting company, has leased about 608m² on the ninth floor and Kramp, Europe’s largest supplier of parts and accessories for the agricultural sector, will occupy the tenth and eleventh floors and has leased about 1,238m² for this purpose.

In addition to these new tenants, Henkel, Eurail B.V. and Spaces have previously opted for Wonderwoods. Henkel, world leader in consumer products and adhesives, leases office space totalling over 2,500m², Eurail B.V., the company behind the Interrail and Eurail Passes, leases about 2,230m² of office space on the fifth floor and Spaces, a label of the international IWG, has committed to around 6,000m² on the second and third floors.

Wonderwoods, which besides office space also offers space for 419 homes, food & beverage facilities and public spaces, is expected to contribute positively to the liveliness of the city of Utrecht. With an emphasis on sustainability and innovation, the complex is seen as a pioneer in the development of urban spaces where working, living and nature go hand in hand.
