Willemswerf in Rotterdam

Willemswerf, which overlooks the river Maas in Rotterdam, is a striking building designed by Amsterdam-based architect Wim Quist. It set the tone for the building of the new Rotterdam in the late 1980s.

In 2013 the interior was fully modernised while retaining its essential character. The refurbishment was overseen by the original architect, Wim Quist, in partnership with Powerhouse Company. Nineteen floors have now been fitted out as office space, five converted into parking garages (with space for 450 cars) and the lobby, with its restaurant, coffee bar and seating area, provides plenty of room to receive clients and hold informal meetings.
