Executive Board of ASR Real Estate Development appointed

Marijke Nas and Hans Veen will jointly form the Executive Board of ASR Real Estate Development. Marijke Nas, currently employed at developer-contractor Dura Vermeer, will join a.s.r. real estate as managing director on 1 December. Hans Veen will be promoted within a.s.r. real estate to the role of managing director. Marijke Nas will assume the position of general director, while Hans Veen will take on the role of commercial director. 

ASR Real Estate Development will focus on integrated area development, with a particular emphasis on residential housing. The current development portfolio comprises over 13,000 new-build homes across the Netherlands. The position of the development organization will be further strengthened and expanded through the addition of new development projects.

Marijke Nas brings extensive experience in property development and residential construction. After more than 12 years as Development Manager at AM, she transitioned to Dura Vermeer. From 2014 to 2020, she served as Director of Property Development & Client and Market, followed by five years as Director of Dura Vermeer Midden West. In this capacity, she played a pivotal role in shaping the organisation, leading the acquisition, development, and delivery of several high-profile and sustainable projects.

Hans Veen has been with a.s.r. real estate since 2012, serving as acquisition & sales manager for residential properties. As of 1 November, he will take up the position of managing director of ASR Real Estate Development. Prior to joining a.s.r. real estate, Hans spent 15 years working as a project developer for various development firms.
