a.s.r. real estate investment management wins JLL’s Golden Brick at Realwise

a.s.r. real estate investment management has been awarded JLL’s Golden Brick (Gouden Baksteen) 2017. The award was presented to Dick Gort, CEO of a.s.r. real estate investment management, during the third edition of Realwise, the annual JLL event that took place at Hermitage Amsterdam yesterday. The award is linked to JLL’s annual investor survey of real estate investment policy. In this survey of Dutch and globally based real estate investors, respondents were asked to vote for a fellow investor they felt had stood out in the past year in terms of strategy, policy or performance.

Dré van Leeuwen, Head of Capital Markets at JLL Netherlands: ‘Over the past year, a.s.r. real estate investment management has distinguished itself from the competition by creating a Dutch office fund. Having raised Asian capital, they demonstrated a clear strategy for ‘buying office buildings in and around mobility hubs’. a.s.r. real estate investment management has succeeded at setting itself apart in terms of strategy, policy and performance. That’s why a.s.r. real estate investment management deserves to win the Golden Brick 2017.’

Dick Gort, CEO of a.s.r. real estate investment management: ‘a.s.r. real estate investment management has invested in property for institutional investors for more than 125 years. Part of our long-term vision is our firm belief that investing in quality offers the best guarantee of returns and capital appreciation in the long term. Our clear focus on location and type of property is reflected in the strategy of all our real estate funds. We’re pleased that Dutch and globally based investors recognise our efforts and are proud to have been awarded the Golden Brick 2017.’

a.s.r. real estate investment management has been offered a membership of JLL for HomePlan worth €3,500.
