Newly renovated shopping centre Klanderij Enschede virtually fully let

Now that six contracts have been signed for De Klanderij in Enschede, a.s.r. vastgoed vermogensbeheer has let virtually every unit in the shopping centre, which is owned by the ASR Dutch Prime Retail Fund. The Bodyshop and Tamaris have been welcomed as new tenants to De Klanderij.

America Today, Rituals, De Tuinen and Hans Anders have signed new leases for their expanded or existing retail units. The surface area of let retail space totals about 1,295 m², spread over several floors.

Klanderij shopping centre
De Klanderij boast over 50 shops and is located at Van Heekplein, in the heart of the city of Enschede. In 2003, De Klanderij was given a new lease of life with a vibrant exterior designed by architect Pi de Bruijn. To continue to innovate and meet consumer requirements, the owner initiated a large-scale renovation project early last June focusing mainly on the entrances. The new entrances and the central square will be outfitted with huge interactive screens that are meant to increase the appeal of the shopping centre and enhance the local shopping experience.

The Bodyshop was assisted in the negotiation process by Metz Vastgoed. CBRE served as advisor to a.s.r. vastgoed vermogensbeheer in all transactions.
