Van Stockum booksellers returns to The Hague city centre

Property development company Kalvermarkt (a joint venture between Provast and a.s.r. vastgoed ontwikkeling) has managed to let all retail space in the Amadeus development in The Hague six months before the complex is scheduled to be completed. The 350 m² retail unit has been leased to Van Stockum booksellers, an institution in The Hague.

Van Stockum 2.0 Van Stockum will be opening its doors in a dynamic location next to the Primark flagship store. The ground-floor unit will have a supersize store window to create maximum impact and visibility. Anne&Max, a well-known coffeehouse chain, will run the food and beverage counter. With the Van Stockum bookstore, an iconic business will be returning to the The Hague city centre. Van Stockum 2.0: a store that is unique in its appeal, product range and expertise.

Amadeus is located at the corner of Kalvermarkt/City Hall in The Hague's premium city centre shopping area. The total development spans 8,500 m² in retail space. The building is also home to 36 condominiums and penthouses, and 40 rental apartments, as well as a parking garage for tenants. The building was designed by Bedaux de Brouwer Architects and is being constructed by Züblin. a.s.r. vastgoed vermogensbeheer owns the 40 rental apartments and purchased the retail space for the ASR Dutch Prime Retail Fund.
